To view and update the errors generated from the UDOIT scan result, click on the UFIXIT area of the UDOIT tool. The Home area will also show a summary of the errors and suggestions.

When you choose the issue you would like to view or resolve, click Review  and this will present a page with

  • a description of the issue
  • a preview of where it appears in the course, including the HTML for the item
  • a link directly to the area in Canvas where the issue can be found
  • a text area or menu to fix the issue (if possible)
  • a button to manually mark the issue as resolved

Where the error can be resolved within the UDOIT interface, you will be prompted on how to proceed and may be presented with a number of options to choose from in order to fix the issue. Once you have resolved the issue, click Save.

In some cases, the issue will need to be resolved outside of the UDOIT interface and you will receive a prompt to indicate this. UDOIT will include [1] a direct link to the page where the issue is located, this will open in a new tab. Once you have resolved the issue on the Canvas page, you can [2] manually mark the issue as resolved in the UDOIT interface.
