The module navigation bar on the left-hand side of your module gives your students quick access to various parts of your Canvas module. We recommend that if you are not using particular elements in Canvas you should remove them from the menu. You can also, for example, choose to hide the Grades link from students at the beginning of your module or if you are not going to be adding Grades to your Canvas module. The example below shows a module with just Units visible to the students.
Editing your Module Navigation
To edit your module navigation, click on Settings and Navigation. Select an item from the list at the top that you want to hide and drag it to the list at the bottom. Moving an item from the bottom list to the top makes it visible to students. You can also click the menu button to the right of the item name and choose to disable or move the item. Remember to click the Save button at the bottom of the page to save your new navigation menu.
