If you mistakenly created Zoom meetings on the Zoom client and not through Canvas, the meetings will not appear in the Zoom tab within your Canvas modules for your students to access.
You can import these meetings into Canvas by following these steps:
1. Open your Zoom online account
at https://telcit.zoom.us/ or
the Zoom application on your desktop
2. Click Meetings and then
click Upcoming
3. Highlight the Meeting ID and copy it (CTRL + C, Command + C or Right
Click - Copy)
4. Open the relevant module in
Canvas and click Zoom from the
menu
5. Click the options icon (⋮)
in the top right corner
6. Click Import meeting
7. Input the Meeting ID and click Import
Your meetings have now been imported
and students can now access them and the
recordings from the Zoom tab in the Canvas
module.
Note: If the meeting is a repeating occurrence it will also import the past meetings and recordings if available.
