The steps to follow in clearing your browser cache can vary from one browser to another. Instructions for the most popular browsers are below (scroll down to view all).

For Google Chrome:

  1. In the top right corner of your browser, click the options icon (⋮) and select Settings from the dropdown menu.
  2. Click Security and Privacy
  3. Click Clear browsing data.
  4. Under the basic options, select Cookies and other site data, and Cached images and files. From the Time range list, select All time. Click Clear data.
  5. With steps 1 - 4 complete, close down the Chrome browser completely, then restart the browser.
For Firefox

  1. Click the ☰ icon to open the application menu. Select History. Note: The location of the application menu will differ depending on your operating system.
  2. From the history list, select Clear Recent History. If the menu bar is hidden, press the Alt key to make it visible.
  3. From the Time range to clear list, select Everything.
  4. Select all checkboxes under History to clear your entire cache. Click OK.
  5. Exit and then restart the browser.

For Microsoft Edge


  1. Click the Settings icon Image Placeholder and select Settings from the list.
  2. Click Privacy, search, and services.
  3. Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.
  4. From the Time range list, select All time.
  5. It is recommended that you select the Browsing history, Download history, Cookies and other site data, and Cached images and files checkboxes.
  6. Click Clear now.
  7. Exit and restart the browser.
For Safari

  1. Click on the Safari drop-down menu and select Preferences.
  2. Click the Advanced tab. Select the Show Develop menu in menu bar checkbox and close the Preferences window.
  3. Select the Develop drop-down menu. Click Empty Cache
  4. Exit and restart the browser.
